Are you interested in culture and love to spend a couples of days on white sand beaches? This trip will be perfect for you! Strolling through downtown Havana and feel the mildewed sea wall and guitars in the background. Impressed by colonial baroque, neoclassic architecture and mysterious cobbled alleyways. You cannot help but feel like you’ve stepped back in time.

Be amazed of the oasis in the Viñales valley. The most stunning views of this beautiful countryside in Cuba. Find your way to the perfect place to end your holiday and immerse yourself in the crystalline waters of Varadero.

You will stay in cosy family run Casas Particulares. It is a great opportunity to get to know the daily life of the Cuban People. The owners of the casas love to share their tips for hidden gems and other recommendations. Can you imagine having lunch in unique spots and zipping on your cocktail in a local bar.

Day 1

After your arrival a representative will pick you up and brings you to your casa. During this ride you will already enjoy the surroundings and colourful suburbs of Havana. After a long flight nothing feels better than to relax a little and feel the vibe of Havana. Havana is a city where you can walk for hours and discover all its pretty places.

Every neighbourhood in Havana offers something unique. Whether it’s eating at a quintessential paladar or taking a leisurely stroll along the city, you’re about to find something that you fancy. There is also an abundance of art studios and boutiques selling local artistry throughout the city, so if you’re an art fanatic, be sure to pay a visit to shops like Clandestina and Pisoclabis Bazar-Café in Old Havana. And of course, there will be opportunities to enjoy a refreshing mojito when the mood strikes you.

Day 2

Close your eyes and take a deep breath, you made it to Cuba. At 8am is it time to explore Havana, during the walking tour the English-speaking local guide will tell you everything you need to know. You will blow away of its swashbuckling history, survivalist spirits and salsa energy. Step into the everyday lives of local people and witness how the city has come to develop over time. It is both a place of grandiosity and a bustling urban community. Where you can absorb the social buzz of the picturesque bars and restaurants. After the meet & greet you will have some free time to explore the city yourselves in the afternoon.

Havana has many cultural options during the night. Performances from Cuban artists take place at theatres, cabarets, cafes like El Batazo and cultural venues. We highly recommend visiting Fábrica de Arte Cubano or if you love jazz music, you should definitely not miss El Gato Tuerto or La Zorra y el Cuervo.

* Vamos a Bailar – Havana Salsa workshop: The Cuban salsa is an irresistible combination of happiness and sensuality. It flows naturally through the veins of the Cubans, learning by doing on the streets since they were very young. Let it move through your body and enjoy it with this workshop! The workshop takes place in the centre of town and it is suitable for different levels from beginner to pro. It is a one-hour workshop.

*Hemingway tour in Havana: In an old American Classic Car you are following the footsteps of famous writer Ernest Hemingway. You get to learn more about him and the places where he stayed in the 1930. Such as; “Finca La Vigia”, Hemingway’s house in Cuba (including entrance fee); Fishermen’s town in Cojimar; La Bodeguita del Medio; Ambos Mundos hotel and last but not least the famous bar ‘El Floridita’s’ including his favourite Daiquiri cocktail. This tour takes about 4 hours.

Day 3

This fully English guided day tour starts 8.00am, you get picked up with a classic car. After 2,5 hours you will arrive in Valle de Viñales. This a charming town located in the province of Pinar del Rio. The Viñales valley is an oasis of greenery, where the legendary tobacco plant grows and are farmed in the old traditional ways. During this tour you will learn all about the process of tobacco making in detail, and the farmer will show you how he rolls the famous Cuban cigars! You will visit hotel Los Jazmines where you can enjoy the rocky peaks rising through the landscape which are called Mogotes. Furthermore, you are visiting the Cueva de los Indios and the prehistoric mural painting. In the end of the afternoon you will be brought back to your casa in Havana.

Day 4

Today you will drive from Havana to Varadero in about 1,5 hours. Both the town of Varadero and its sprawling golden sands are a joy to relax in. Take a stroll along the picture-perfect shoreline and pick a tropical spot for the day. You have 3 days to float along the surface of crystal-clear waters.

You have the option to stay in a Casas Particulares, located in a residential suburb. These casas vary between the 50-200m from the beach in a quieter part of Varadero. Or you could choose for the luxury type of stay. This means an all-inclusive hotel next the beach.

Day 5

This will be your second day in tropical Varadero. Head for the beach and spend your day soaking in the sun. If you are feeling adventurous, try out some watersports or explore the hidden gems of the town.

We have a list of places that you can visit if you are interested in exploring this place: Cuevas de Saturno, Parque Josone and Los Beatles Bar. Or Bacunayagua Bridge viewpoint, Panoramic tour of Matanzas city, Including: La Libertad park, Palacio de Junco Museum, Sauto Theatre, Fireman’s quarters and Matanzas bay.

Day 6

Another blissful day on Varadero beach awaits. Nothing feels better than a sun kissed skin, salty hair and sand between your toes. The turquoise water here means the visibility of the corals is unparalleled, which makes snorkelling a popular activity.

Day 7

Enjoy the last few hours, before it is time to say goodbye. The departure time for your private transfer to the airport depends on your flight details. Hasta pronto Cuba!
