Day 1Welcome To Moscow!

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by your driver at the arrivals area of the airport. You will be transferred to the hotel by a private vehicle. Get settled in and prepare for your Russian adventure!

Day 2Visit the Colorful Kremlin

Meet your guide at the hotel reception. You will go on a walking tour around the historical city center to see the Red Square and the main landmarks. After lunch, visit the Kremlin and its cathedrals. At the end of the day, you will walk by the Christ the Savior Cathedral where you will have a panoramic view of the Kremlin and the Moskva River from the Bridge of Patriarchs. Later, enjoy a transfer to Kazan railway station by car. Your journey across the whole of Russia has just begun!

Day 3Explore the Sights of Kazan

Watch amazing scenery from your train cabin! The wide waters of Volga, the main river of the European part of Russia, seen outside the windows of the train will glow in the morning sun. In the Kazan district the width of the Volga River reaches up to 10 km. Several minutes before your arrival in Kazan, you will be able to spot several of its landmarks. The Kremlin was built in the 16th century and is made of beautiful white stone. The minarets of the Qol Sharif mosque will also appear. Meet your driver at your railcar. Travel to your hotel and drop off your luggage. Afterward, embark on a Kazan guided walking sightseeing tour. A visit to Kremlin and the historical city center is included.

Day 4Discover Scenic Sviyazhsk

After breakfast, you will meet your guide and a driver at the hotel reception. Today you will visit the town-island of Sviyazhsk, its history Museum, and the Dormition monastery. Transfer back to Kazan by car with the driver. The afternoon is yours to spend as you desire. In the evening, meet your driver at the hotel reception and transfer to the railway station. Depart for Ekaterinburg.

Day 5Arrive at Lovely Ekaterinburg

Shortly before arriving in Ekaterinburg you will see the Urals foothills and low forest hills looming outside the train windows. The surroundings start to change: mixed wood with birch and pine trees turns into taiga mostly with spruce, fir and larch trees. Meet your driver by your railcar and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Ekaterinburg. Start with a visit to the Church of All Saints, built on the site where the royal family of the last Russian emperor was shot.

Day 6Visit the Ganina Yama Monastery

After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel reception. Today you’ll go outside the city by car with the driver. Stop by the monument on the border between Europe and Asia, where stones from the furthest points of the continent – Cape Roca in Portugal and Cape Dezhnev in Chukotka – are inserted. Visit the monastery built on the place of Ganya’s Pit. This used to be an abandoned mine and was where the bodies of the Russian royal family were thrown after their execution. Transfer back to Ekaterinburg. In the evening meet your driver at the hotel reception and transfer to the railway station. Depart for Irkutsk.

Day 7Cross the Irtysh River

You will be spending today on the train. The train travels through prairie not far from the Kazakhstan border. In Omsk, it crosses the Irtysh river, the World’s biggest tributary. In the evening the train will arrive in Novosibirsk. This is the largest city in Siberia and its unofficial capital.

Day 8Cross the Magnificent Enisey

You will be spending today on the train. Depending on your train’s schedule you will cross Enisey, one of the greatest rivers in Siberia. The river acts as a border between Eastern and Western Siberia. After a long trip over the plains, the foothills of Sayany mountains provide some diversity to the landscape of Krasnoyarsk district.

Day 9Welcome to Irkutsk!

In the morning, you will arrive in Irkutsk. Meet your guide by the railcar and visit a local cafe for breakfast. You’ll go on an Irkutsk sightseeing tour in a private vehicle. Then transfer to Listvyanka, a village situated 70 km away from Irkutsk on the bank of Baikal Lake. The road goes along the Angara river across taiga and villages. Get settled in your hotel. In the afternoon, have a rest and recover from long train journey. Later, you will have time to explore the village and its fish market by yourself!

Day 10Discover Listvyanka's Surroundings

After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel reception. Transfer to the Limnological museum and visit Baikal Museum in order to get acquainted with the geography, flora, and fauna of the Baikal lake. Travel to Chersky Cape by cable car where you will enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the Angara River and Baikal Lake. You can have lunch at a cafe and taste the local cuisine. Afterward, transfer to Taltsy Wooden Architecture Museum, which is situated 20km from Listvyanka along the Angara river. Proceed back to Listvyanka.

Day 11Marvel at Slyudyanka's Marble Station

Early in the morning, depart for Vladivostok by train. After a couple of hours, the train starts to pass through the Kultuk Pass from where a beautiful view of Baikal can be seen. After overcoming the Trans-Siberian’s steepest descent, the train will arrive at the Slyudyanka settlement. Look out for its famous marble railway station.

Day 12Pass Through Chita

You will be spending today on the train. Take in the scenic Russian countryside and enjoy the romance of train travel!

Day 13Journey Through Khabarovsk

You will be spending today on the train. Pass through Khabarovsk and enjoy the scenic wilderness of Russia.

Day 14En Route to Vladivostok!

You will arrive at Vladivostok in the morning. Meet your driver by the railcar. and transfer to your hotel. After relaxing at the hotel, in the afternoon you will go on a guided city sightseeing tour by car.

Day 15Discover Amazing Vladivostok

Today you’ll embark on a cruise along Zolotoy Rog Bay. Pass under the new cable-stayed bridges to the Russky Island. You can also see the Vladivostok University campus.

Day 16Go on a Cruise Along the Zolotoy

Today, you will travel to Vladivostok airport in time for your flight back home. Safe travels home, and visit again soon!
