Day 1Welcome to Siem Reap!

Welcome to exotic Siem Reap, home to the famous Angkor Wat, one of the greatest cultural monuments in the world! Siem Reap is a small town filled with resorts and hotels, but do not mistake it with a touristy bustling town like Phuket. The city’s peaceful environment is perhaps due to the height of its buildings, which are not allowed to be taller than Angkor towers.

Day 2Explore Breathtaking Angkor Wat

Meet your guide at your hotel and head straight to Angkor Wat temple. Continue exploring the mysterious Royal City Angkor Thom. Next, see the stunning Bayon. This 54-tower temple is an awesome sight! Visit the surroundings of the complex, including the Baphoun, Elephant Terraces, Leper King Terrace and Royal Enclosure area, and visit one more ruin in the Angkor Area of Preah Khan temple. Late in the afternoon, drive back to visit the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat – one of the world’s most impressive ruins. The temple still houses fine apsara carvings in Angkorian era art. Take the elephant ride, which is a great way to soak up the atmosphere under the shade of the huge trees while taking in a different view over the temples.

Day 3Experience a Traditional Monk Blessing

Buddhism is Cambodia’s central religion, and its influence is felt by millions here in countless aspects of daily life. But how, exactly? On this half-day adventure you’ll witness a traditional Buddhist ceremony. The experience offers a small but exciting taste of Cambodia’s religious traditions. Experience a traditional monk blessing at one of Siem Reap’s most famous pagodas. Flowers, including lotus and jasmine, as well as incense and candles will be used in the ceremony alongside traditional offerings. The monk will end the blessing by tying a red thread around your wrist, which signifies good luck and prosperity. Later, take a cooking class and learn how to make good Khmer foods and also try all of them. Travel away from the city to a traditional rural village. Experience a day in the life of these people.

Day 4Discover Charming Phnom Penh

After breakfast, take a short flight to Phnom Penh. The city has been the capital since 1866 and although it suffered extensive damage during the Khmer Rouge era, the city still retains a rustic charm. Accompanied by an English-speaking local guide, tour the city to discover its ancient and recent past. Begin your tour at the Royal Palace, which stands majestically in the city center just off the riverfront area. Several buildings are open to visitors, including the Silver Pagoda, where the floor is lined with solid silver tiles. Continue to the National Museum, located in a fabulous old building. The Museum is filled with art and artifacts dating back to the pre-Angkorian era. At the north end of the city, you’ll find the hilltop pagoda of Wat Phnom, for which the capital was named. Climb the stairs to the top of the hill for fabulous views of the city below.

Day 5Make Your Way to Idyllic Koh Rong Island

After breakfast, drive down the mountain and visit a Pepper Plantation. Arrive in Sihanoukville and take the high speed ferry to Koh Rong Island. Koh Rong Beach boasts a long stretch of pristine sand surrounded by tropical jungle. The calm sea offers safe swimming and fantastic snorkeling straight off the beach. Relax on this dreamy beach for rest of the day!

Day 6Enjoy a Day Chilling on Koh Rong Island

Today you can spend the full day at your leisure enjoying the serenity of Koh Rong Island. An easy trek to the beautiful tropical forest is a great opportunity for you to see more of the nature heere and spot some wildlife. Or, simply relax under the sun!

Day 7Relax in Paradise For One More Day

Spend one more day relaxing on this honeymoon paradise called Koh Rong!

Day 8Goodbye, Cambodia!

After breakfast, take the speed boat back to Sihanoukville, where a car will be waiting for you to transfer you to the airport in Phnom Penh where you’ll board your flight home. The memories of your sweet trip will fly home with you, see you next time!
