Exposed to the beautiful square, after whom this building is named, this charming restaurant welcomes its guests in an authentic medieval sixteenth-century building, where the testimony of an ancient and popular Trastevere is an excellent accompaniment to an environment that is elegant and casual at the same time. First up is a pleasant stroll through the historic center to visit the most iconic places. The guided tour starts with the Spanish Steps, which lead to a spectacular square that will captivate you with its original butterfly-wings shape and the Fontana della Barcaccia. You’ll continue on to throw a lucky coin in the Trevi Fountain, visit the Pantheon (the best-preserved building from ancient Rome), marvel at Piazza Navona with its impressive fountains, and learn about the history of Palazzo Madama. Later, discover Rome’s ancient history with an enchanting guided tour of the three world-famous symbols of Imperial Rome: the Colosseum, the arches and temples of the Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill, the most central of the seven hills of Rome which are considered one of the oldest parts of the city.

Day 3Visit the Beautiful Villa D’Este

Enjoy a full-day guided visit to one of the most beautiful villas near Rome. Villa D’Este in Tivoli is a masterpiece of the Italian Garden, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. With its impressive concentration of fountains, nymphs, grottoes, and music, it constitutes a much-copied model for European gardens in the mannerist and baroque styles. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Restaurant Pizzeria Antiche Terme di Diana, which is completely converted from an ancient Roman temple dedicated to the goddess of hunting Diana (300 BC). It is the result of years of excavations and discoveries made by the Carli family to bring to light the remains of this ancient Roman place of worship.
