Welcome to the city of love: Rome! After you land and collect your rental car, head to your hotel for a welcome drink. It’s time to start enjoying your stay in Rome! Tonight’s dinner will be served in Taverna de’ Mercanti, in the Trastevere area. Exposed to the beautiful square, after whom this building is named, this charming restaurant welcomes its guests in an authentic medieval sixteenth-century building, where the testimony of an ancient and popular Trastevere is an excellent accompaniment to an environment that is elegant and casual at the same time. Enjoy traditional and ancient taste in one of the most folkloristic restaurants in Rome.
First up is a pleasant stroll through the historic center to visit the most iconic places. The guided tour starts with the Spanish Steps, which lead to a spectacular square that will captivate you with its original butterfly-wings shape and the Fontana della Barcaccia.
