3 Hours Before Flight Time
On your first magical day in Croatia, you’ll be exploring the capital of Zagreb. You can either decide to enjoy the day on your own or meet the private local guide who will take you to a private walking tour around the city. You’ll also have the chance to join the Zagreb food walking tour and explore the city in a different way. Get familiar with the distinctive tastes of each of the five regions and enjoy the most typical wine samples that pair best with traditional dishes. You’ll learn a considerable amount of local history and culture. It is so much more than a food tour and definitely not your usual city tour! When your full and exciting day in Zagreb is done, spend the night in your cozy hotel.
Wake up to a delicious breakfast at your Zagreb hotel, then meet your guide to road trip to Plitvice Lakes National Park. You’ll be amazed at the breathtaking scenery of 16 terraced lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Follow rustic boardwalks over crystal clear waters and watch the fish swim below. Take your time as you stare in awe at the huge, billowing plumes of the waterfalls. In the afternoon, you’ll proceed to Zadar, the historical center of Dalmatia. Spend the evening walking the charming streets of the city and finding something fresh and local to eat for dinner. Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
On your third day, get to know Zadar, part of UNESCO world heritage with a private local guide! The historical capital of Dalmatia, Zadar is the charming Mediterranean city full of legends and interesting stories. The old city lies on a small peninsula where once stood the best fortified European city. Besides the Venetian fortifications, sightseeing places you are going to visit are People`s Square, City Market, Sea Gate, St. Donatus Church, and the Cathedral of St. Anastasia. In the afternoon, indulge in a cheese tasting with fresh cheeses from nearby. With such an amazing tasting, you might just skip dinner!
From Zadar, you’ll journey to Krka National Park to admire the stunning waterfalls. Swim in the famous lake and walk the area to discover still more waterfalls. After the park visit, your private driver and guide will take you to Split. Along the way, you might want to stop at Skradin, one of the oldest Croatian towns, located near Krka National Park. You can also stop at Sibenik, the region’s oldest native Croatian town on the shores of the sea and home to some of the most significant masterpieces such as the famous Cathedral of St. James. In the afternoon, walk along the seaside promenade with a savory ice cream cone and take in views across the Adriatic Sea. At night, you’ll be treated to a romantic dinner on a cobblestone street within the palace walls.
After breakfast in Split, you’ll depart for Dubrovnik, Croatia’s gorgeous oranged-roofed city by the sea. Today you’ll embark across the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina to visit the gorgeous city of Mostar. Your private guide will take you to a day excursion to explore the best of what the city has to offer. Mostar is situated on the Neretva River and is the fifth-largest city in the country. You’ll explore on foot with the help of your guide and learn about the city’s culture and history. The most famous attraction is the Old Bridge, one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most recognizable landmarks and considered the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans. Your visit to the Bridge will be a highlight for sure! In the evening, you’ll return to Dubrovnik.
Spend one last morning in Dubrovnik, walking the city walls or strolling through the main city squares. Visit the famous museums or aquarium and don’t miss jumping in the sea at one of the nearby beaches. When it’s time to say goodbye, you’ll be transferred to the airport.
