Day 1

Salut Paris!

Welcome to charming Paris! After check into your hotel in the center of Paris you will have the rest of the day to visit the surroundings. Optional tour: Paris By Night in a Citröen 2CV Tour Paris, the City of Light in a classic Citröen 2CV ! In a mere hour, beautiful Paris will reveal its nocturnal magic! Your night tour of Paris will be undertaken in a convertible red-white and blue Citroën 2CV with an English-speaking Parisian driver! You will be able to see all the highlights of central Paris: Avenue des Champs Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, Trocadéro, Eiffel Tower, Invalides, Pont Alexandre 3, Petit et Grand Palais, Place de la Concorde, Opéra Garnier, Place Vendôme, Louvre Pyramide, Ile de la Cité, Notre Dame Cathedral and Hôtel de Ville.

Day 2

Taste Exceptional Cheeses and Learn To Pair Them With Equally Great Wines!

Today you will have the chance to choose among many exciting and culturally rich activities. Optional: Cheese and Wine Tasting in an old parisian cellar In a 17th century cheese maturing cellar in the heart of Paris, le Marais, Paroles de Fromagers will take you to an incredible cheese tasting experience. You will learn the subtlety of tasting exceptional cheeses, and of pairing them with wonderful wines. Oh la la! This tasting includes : 7 types of cheese, 2 glasses of wine and fresh baguette. Duration: 1 hour and 30 min You will spend the nigh in a bed & breakfast in the center of Paris.

Day 3

Dig Into the Secrets of the Eiffel Tower and Explore Trendy Le Marais

Today you will have the choice of experiencing the Eiffel Tower in a very unique way and/or strolling around Le Marais. Optional Tour 1: Guided Tour of the Eiffel Tower Your guide will lead you to the backstage of the monument where you will have access to rooms usually closed to public. You will finish your tour on the 2 nd floor at a height of 115 meters, where you will reach the famous restaurant Le Jules Verne offering a stunning panoramic view of Paris. Optional Tour 2: Stroll through the Marais Immerse yourself in the historic district of Le Marais and stroll through the picturesque alleys along the sumptuous buildings, hidden courtyards, luxurious gardens, and impressive statues. Le Marais hosts today very trendy art and fashion venues.

Day 4

Tour Vibrant Nantes and Try Local Homemade Specialties

Are you ready? Today you will fly to Nantes to get your rental car and set off on an adventure of a lifetime. Today is for you to spend at your leisure in Nantes. Nantes is one of the most dynamic cities in France in the culture, art and creation fields. Explore the city and discover the historical architecture at the Château des Ducs de Bretagne, and go for a walk along the quais or in one of the numerous parks of the city. Dinner will be served by your local host Christine, who is a real leisure “cordon bleu chef” and enjoys entertaining guests in a friendly atmosphere. She is very pleased to have you try her homemade specialties. Christine’s home is handicap accessible, there is an elevator and you can easily find safe street parking. At your convenience, dinner will be served between 19:00 and 22:00.

Day 5

Sail the Vast Marshland at La Brière

Today you will drive to Saint-André-des-Eaux. We suggest the Guided Boat Tour in a Traditional Barge through the Parc de la Brière. La Brière is the second largest marshland (70 km²) in France after the Camargue. In the past, Brière was a center for peat digging and reed picking, but now it is a paradise for nature lovers exploring the canals and islands by boat. Anthony, your passionate tour guide, will take you aboard his traditional barge to sail through the marshland of Brière. You will have the opportunity to take a close look at the various bird species populating this marshland. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at la Baule, Located between the harbors of Pornichet and Pouliguen. Discover this international seaside town, one of the most beautiful bays of the world. You will spend the night in Saint-Joachim.

Day 6

Visit an Artisanal Cheese Dairy

Set out for the charming seaside town of Pornic. Overlooked by the medieval city and the Gilles de Rais castle, Pornic boasts an ancient port and gorgeous 19th-century Belle Epoque Villas. Optinal Tour: Visit a Long-Established Artisanal Cheese Dairy The cheese dairy was jointly created by a country farmer and a cleric, and it is situated on the riverbank of the small village of Saint-Julien-de-Concelles. Their descendants have been running it for four generations and have made it a symbol of the region’s gastronomy. It has been awarded numerous prizes for its quality. This is an enriching gourmet discovery of the oldest cheese in the Nantes region!

Day 7

Learn How to Steer a Sailboat While You Discover the Magical Islands Around La Rochelle

Your next stop will be La Rochelle, at the Bay of Biscay. Here you may opt for a superb and very educational sailing tour. Optional Tour: Sailing Trip around La Rochelle Laurent, a sailing instructor, offers sailing trips in the Pertuis, around La Rochelle, a unique place with wonderful islands to discover : Aix island, Fort Boyard, Ré Island... The surroundings are wonderful and the atmosphere is truly peaceful. Let yourself be guided along the coasts for the day on his 11,30 m sailing boat. Beginners are welcome; you can learn to steer a boat, as well as the sailing and harbor maneuvers. You will stay in La Rochelle overnight.

Day 8

Cycle Ré Island and Get Lost in the Gorgeous Scenery

Today you will head to Ré Island. It is time to enjoy a cycling excursion on Ré island. Bike around the island and stroll along the sand dunes, vineyards & forests. Do not forget to stop and take a deep breath of fresh sea air. Keep cycling along the coast through the fishing harbour of La Flotte-en-Ré to the pretty vineyards of Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré. Spend the night at a guesthouse in La Rochelle.

Day 9

Explore Picturesque Oléron Island By Bike

Oléron Island is the second biggest island in France and in Europe. It's a true nature lover's paradise, being dotted with forests, swamps, dunes and beaches. On the island, there is a well developed cycle route network (130km). You might want to grab a bike and explore it on your own.

Day 10

Au Revoir!

Unfortunately, it is already time to leave! Don't forget your return your rental car at the airport in Nantes. We wish you a wonderful trip back home. See you next time!
