Itineraries

Day 1

Welcome To Montreal!

Welcome to Montreal! Upon arrival into Montreaal International Airport, look out for the friendly face of your chauffeur waiting for you in the arrivals hall. After assisting you with your luggage, your private transfer will drive you to your hotel in the heart of Montreal which will be your base for the night. Don't forget to look out the window and be awed by the most cosmopolitan city in Canada that is very much alive. Whether in the heat of summer or the cold of winter, there is no shortage of activities! Once you've checked into the hotel, feel free to freshen up and relax before enjoying the rest of the evening at your own pace and leisure discovering the city.

Day 2

Half-Day Walking Tour of Downtown Montreal

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you'll embark on a two-hour tour of downtown Montreal. This two-hour tour will take you through every nook and cranny of the city. Explore the lively and cosmopolitan streets of downtown Montreal, with your local guide and visit the main monuments. You'll visit the Fairmont - The Queen Elizabeth Hotel, built in 1958 in honour of Queen Elizabeth. Inside, you will discover on the wall of the Agora, a painting of Cité Mémoire which continuously projected in a panoramic way evoking the great periods of Montreal's history. Also, visit Dorchester Square and Canada Place, Sainte Catherine Street, RESO, the world's largest indoor pedestrian network, and more!

Day 3

Travel On Chemin du Roy To Quebec City

You'll start the morning by picking up your rental car. You will take the tourist road of the Chemin du Roy, known for its breathtaking panoramic views. Throughout your trip, you will follow the St. Lawrence Riverand across the city of Trois-Rivières as well as beautiful Quebec villages. Winter in Quebec City is unique and offers a magical setting - its historic centre containing many treasures to discover. You will learn about the influence of the cold season on the history, culture and architecture of Quebec City.

Day 4

Explore Orleans Island on a Night Snowshoe Walk

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll travel a few kilometres from Quebec City to Orleans Island - full of magnificent treasures! On the way, maybe make a stop to admire the impressive Montmorency Falls? Orleans Island offers breathtaking landscapes, local products, architecture, and more that you'll enjoy! Each of the six villages that make up the area has its own character. Next, enjoy a delectable meal in a sugar shack where maple products are made, including the famous maple syrup. Later, experience a night walk! With snowshoes on your feet, your guide will take you past apple trees filled with frozen apples that will be used to prepare ice cider before taking you to a cider house to taste the local produce.

Day 5

Half-Day Snowmobile Ride On Orleans Island

We hope you're ready for some adrenaline! Today, you'll experience a snowmobile tour but before you set off on your adventure, your guide will teach you safety instructions and driving techniques. Discover the magnificent snow covered landscapes of Orleans Island from another angle. Before leaving Orleans Island, we suggest you explore its wild beauty. The small village of Saint-François, located at the northern tip of the island, offers a very beautiful view of Mont-Sainte-Anne and Cap Tourmente. Next, you'll head towards the Saguenay Fjord, a huge playground in the heart of nature. It is one of the largest in the world at such a low altitude. After leaving St. Lawrence River, you will reach Anse-Saint-Jean where you'll spend the night.

Day 6

Dog Sledding in Anse-Saint-Jean

This morning after breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your guides who will brief you on am introductory course into dog sledding. Learn how to drive the sled before assisting the guides with harness ingthe dogs. With slender dogs, you'll slide on snow along the Saint John River in the boreal forest on zigzagging paths between the trees. After the effort, you will warm up with a delectable meal in a log cabin on the shores of beautiful Emmuraillé Lake. The adventure continues by crossing the frozen lake with your carriage before returning home through a maple grove.

Day 7

Snoeshoeing In Anse-Saint-Jean

Today is yet another snowshoeing day to discover the beauty and breadth of the region. The advantage of snowshoeing in winter is that you can go anywhere. You will travel with your guide through the boreal forest. In the heart of the wilderness, you will have the opportunity to admire breathtaking landscapes and meet Quebec wildlife. Your guide will teach you about the history of this province and the relationship between the First Nations people and nature. To warm you up, your guide will prepare a fire around which you will have lunch. The adventure continues into the forest before returning.

Day 8

Say Farewell to Montreal!

This morning you’ll head to Montreal for a free day in town. Feel free to spend it at your own pace and leisure, enjoying everything that this quaint city has to offer. Depending when your flight is, you may need to head straight to the airport to drop off your car. All good things must come to an end but we hope you have enjoyed your time exploring the very best that the Canada has to offer. The rich natural beauty history, the effervescent culture and the people that make the country what it is. We hope you have had a memorable trip and wish you pleasant onward travels!
