Day01:-Arrive in Istanbul
Bon, voyage! Today, you are off to for your exciting tour of Turkey. Embark on your flight to Istanbul Upon arrival at Istanbul, you will be greeted by your friendly and experienced Travelling Expo Local Representative outside the baggage hall. Proceed to your hotel and check-in. Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Check into your hotel.
Day02:- Depart for Antalya:
After American breakfast at your hotel, proceed to the airport for your flight to Antalya. Arrive at Antalya and check in the hotel (Standard check-in time 1400 hrs). Indian lunch prepared by our Chef will be served. Start with your Antalya Old City Tour (Kaleici region) and then proceed towards Olympus Mountains for your round trip Cable Car ride (weather permitting). Experience a cable car ride that travels ‘from sea to sky’ during the journey to the Mount Tahtali summit. From the summit, take in 360-degree views from 7,760 feet (2,365 meters) above sea level. See Beydaglari National park, the coastline of Antalya, including the mountains, pine forests, and the Mediterranean Sea, and get great photo ops.
After American breakfast at your hotel, collect your packed light lunch for the day from your chef. After pick up from the hotel you will drive to the jeep safari tour start point. You will get information about the tour program and then your unforgettable adventure will begin (As its off-road some itineraries do change due to operational reasons). You will spend a great day out in the Taurus mountains and Turkish countryside. Safari convoy will pass small villages covering dusty and challenging roads. There are some stops on the way that you can enjoy amazing panoramic views, take pictures and breathe clean air filled with the pleasant smell of pine trees and mountain flower. Then you will reach an altitude of 920 mt and stop at the Yumaklar village. You will visit a traditional village house and get information about village life in Turkey. Next, you will stop for enjoying the packed lunch today. After lunch gets ready for the off-road experience and passing dusty roads on the way to Ucansu Waterfall (Flying waterfall). It is one of the undiscovered natural beauties of the Mediterranean region. Breathtaking views of Ucansu waterfall located in the heart of virgin nature are waiting for you. You will also have the possibility to swim there in the natural pool. So do not forget to bring your swimming suit. Full of positive emotions and unforgettable impressions you will drive back to the hotel.
Day04:-On the way to Pakkumale
After American breakfast at your hotel, proceed towards Pammukale.
Pamukkale, meaning “cotton castle” in Turkish, is a natural site in Denizli in south-western Turkey. The area is famous for a carbonate mineral left by the flowing water. It is located in Turkey’s Inner Aegean region, in the River Menderes valley, which has a temperate climate for most of the year. The ancient Greco-Roman city of Hierapolis was built on top of the white “castle” which is in total about 2,700 meters (8,860 ft) long, 600 m (1,970 ft) wide and 160 m (525 ft) high. It can be seen from the hills on the opposite side of the valley in the town of Denizli, 20 km away.
Arrive at Pamukkale after a 4 Hours drive. Enjoy local lunch at the Turkish Restaurant. We then visit Travertine area (Carry Swim Wear and no expensive items please) i.e. Cotton Castle (walking involved). The calcium oxide-rich waters flowing down the southern slope of Caldag located north of the ruins have, over the millennia, built up deposits of white travertine on the plateau thus fully justifying both the site’s ancient name of Hierapolis (Holy City) and its modern one of Pamukkale (Cotton Castle). We shall also have a Mud Pool Bath session in the local pools at Pamukkale. Evening back to hotel
Day05:-on the way to Cappacodia
After American breakfast at your hotel, Proceed towards Cappadocia via the famed city of Konya. The chef will prepare a light packed lunch for the journey ahead today. Total of 08 hours of the scenic journey today with comfort and photo stops on the way. Upon arrival at Cappadocia, we check into our hotel and enjoy an Indian Dinner at Namaste India restaurant.
Breakfast at the hotel and then we proceed for a full day tour of the many sights and sounds of Cappadocia. First, we visit the Devrent Valley and walk through the beautiful and colorful formations and rock formations in the valley and through the fairy chimneys valley. Next, we proceed to Pasabaglari Valley (Monk’s valley) and enjoy the view of the most beautiful mushroom shaped roofs of the region admiring old churches and monasteries. Indian lunch prepared by our Chef will be served. Post lunch the highlight of the day i.e. Goreme Open Air Museum (Rock Churches) and here we visit the Byzantine rock carved orthodox churches, wall paintings and frescos dating back to the 8th century. It is possible to see geometrical wall paintings from the Iconoclastic Period. Next, we visit the photo stop at Esentepe to relax and take pictures at one of the most stunning areas of Cappadocia. We will end the day at Uchisar and we will drive from below the castle of Uchisar, the rock formations, and pigeon shelters before heading back to the hotel.
Day07:- on the way to Istanbul
Today after breakfast at the hotel, take a flight to Istanbul. Pick up by your coach at Istanbul airport and Indian lunch at an Indian restaurant. Then we visit Blue Mosque, standing directly opposite the Hagia Sophia the Blue Mosque is one of the most beautiful mosques in the world. Famous for its Iznik tiles this Turkish jewel is a must-see for everyone visiting Turkey. Next, we proceed to the Hippodrome (Serpent Column, Obelisk of Theodosius & German Fountain of Wilhelm): Visit the square once used as a sporting arena predating Constantinople itself. Though a few fragments of the original structure survive, the square still boasts some of the most glorious monuments built in this great city. The Serpent Column, Obelisk of Theodosius & German Fountain of Wilhelm are the ancient treasures to be seen. Today’s Lunch is at one of the most authentic Turkish Kofte restaurants. Evening we visit the Grand Covered Bazaar – In this labyrinth of streets and passages are more than 4,000 shops with each trade having its own area the goldsmiths’ street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as hand-painted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, brassware and trays, water ewers, onyx-ware and meerschaum pipes.
Day08:-Topkapi Palace Tour
Today after breakfast at the hotel, start with the Full Day Bosphorus tour. We start with the Dolmabahce Palace which was the last residence for Ottoman Sultans with 365 rooms and 22 saloons. Famous with the great collection of European antiquity, furniture, and 4.5 tons chandelier. Next visit Yildiz Royal Garden a historical, urban park in Besiktas district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is one of the largest public parks in Istanbul. The park is located in Yildiz quarter between the palaces of Yildiz and Ciragan. Yildiz Park was once part of the imperial garden of Yildiz Palace. Extending down the slopes from the palace, this walled park was reserved only for palace dwellers during the reign of Sultan Abdulhamid II. Local lunch will be provided today. Visit the City Walls next – The first breach of the walls was by the Fourth Crusade in 1204, the second by the cannons and troops of Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror in 1453. Indian lunch prepared by our Chef at hotel or Indian restaurant.
Next, we Topkapi Palace which is the grand palace that served as a residence to the Sultans for over 400 years. A must-see attraction in Turkey, the museum carries some of the most revered treasures in Islamic history including items belonging to the Prophet Mohammad. It also displays a magnificent collection of jewels, different weaponry, clothing, and calligraphy. *Harem not included
Next, we drive by Bus to the Golden Horn as a natural and extremely secure harbor, the Golden Horn has played an important role in the development of Istanbul. The inlet separates the European shore into two. It is approximately 8 km long, and the widest part is the entrance from the Bosphorus. Two streams drain into this inlet at its far end. Free time at Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar) – The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice. Lastly, we take the Boat Trip on the Bosphorus which is a traditional excursion by boat along the waterway separating Europe and Asia. The shore is lined with old wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages. During the excursion, you will pass the magnificent Dolmabahce Palace, and further along, the parks and imperial pavilions of Yildiz Palace. On the coastal edge of this park, is Ciragan Palace, 300 meters of is marble facade faces the shore. At Ortakoy a great variety of artists gather every Sunday to display their work along the street. Ortakoy is a symbol of tolerance with a church, a mosque and a synagogue existing side by side for centuries. You will also see the Rumeli fortress (from the Sea, no interior visit): Built by Mehmet the Conqueror in 1452 prior to the conquest of Istanbul, was completed in only four months to control and protect Bosphorus. It is one of the most beautiful works of military architecture anywhere in the world.
Day09:- Time to say goodbye:
After breakfast, bid good-bye to all the friends you made on the Tour. After checking out from the Hotel, proceed to the airport, where your memorable Travelling Expo tour of Turkey Wonders comes to an end.
